Hi, I’m Mariko, from Whanganui, New Zealand — and I’m the only Official Kiero Advisor living outside Japan.
This morning, I signed the agreement with Whanganui District Council’s Waste Minimisation Fund. The Kiero pilot project is officially underway.
A few months ago, I applied for the Waste Minimisation Fund to bring Kiero to Whanganui households. And it was approved.
This year, I’ll be working with 10 local households to trial the Kiero system — collecting real data on how it performs in New Zealand conditions. I will also be running workshops every month throughout the year. WooHoo!
