Why Compost?
Composting is more than just reducing waste.
It’s a hands-on way to reconnect with nature, nourish the soil, and close the loop of everyday living.
With KIERO, the Japanese-inspired composting system,
you can transform kitchen scraps into healthy soil — odor-free, pest-free, and cost-free.
It’s easy, clean, and perfect for any household.
Let’s make zero waste a way of life together, for our planet, our community, and our future.

KIERO Floor Plan (Hayama City, Japan)

In this way, the sunlight, the air circulation, and the moderate humidity all help to activate the microorganisms living in the soil inside the KIERO.
KIERO is a “living food waste decomposer” that follows the laws of nature.
It doesn’t require electricity, and there are no costs for fermentation agents.
Kiero can be used not only for vegetable scraps, but also for food leftovers, meat and fish, oil stuck to frying pans, soup, and other liquids that cannot be put into compost. You can even add mould to it!
Microorganisms can also process food that you may have thrown away with your food waste, or liquids that you didn’t know where to dispose of!
